​The Timber Sourced from the Australian bush, this piece began as a solid Mallee stem naturally hollowed by termites over many years. Mallee is prized for its high-contrast grain and "bell-like" resonance. Under two coats of natural linseed oil, the heartwood has transformed into deep, earthy reds and chocolate browns, showcasing the "eyes" and swirls unique to this species.
